When I took over the social media strategy for this kombucha brand, it faced significant challenges in establishing a foothold in the Irish market.

Previous efforts had fallen flat, and the brand needed a fresh approach to resonate with local consumers.

My objective was to translate their marketing materials and create a compelling social media presence that would engage the Irish audience.

Strategy and Execution

1/ Market Research & Buyer Personas

I conducted thorough market research to understand the competitive landscape and identify consumer preferences within the Irish market. This included analysing industry trends, competitor strategies, and consumer behavior.

Based on this research, I developed detailed buyer personas, which outlined the demographics, interests, and pain points of our target audience.

This insight was crucial in tailoring our messaging and content strategy to effectively reach and engage potential customers.

2/ Creation of New Copy Brand Guidelines:

I developed comprehensive copy brand guidelines that reflected the brand's identity while ensuring relevance to the Irish market. This included tone, messaging, and key phrases that resonated with local consumers, creating a cohesive brand voice.

I focused on translating the features as benefits whenever I could to appeal to people’s daily pain-points, thus influencing them to purchase.

When discussing your product's features, always ask "what does this mean for my buyer?"


3. Writing a Sales Book

To facilitate market entry, I authored a sales book that detailed the brand's unique selling points and competitive advantages.

Once again, I needed to create new buyer persona’s and made sure my copy was tailored to appeal to them and solve their pain-points.

I collaborated with a graphic designer to showcase the potential of the drinks in visually captivating ways that resonated with the intended audience.

The Result? This resource played a pivotal role in securing partnerships with three major supermarket retailers, significantly expanding the brand's distribution channels.

4. Social Media Management

I took over the brand's social media page and implemented a new aesthetic strategy, focusing on a graphic-photo-graphic-photo approach. This visually appealing layout not only caught the eye but also aligned with contemporary social media trends.

I generated ideas for all social media posts, utilising effective copywriting techniques, engaging reels and informative graphics to produce a variety of value-driven content which educated and entertained our audience.

Each post was crafted to resonate with the target audience, blending informative content with an engaging tone.

6/ Brand Awareness Campaigns

I drove a comprehensive brand awareness campaign specifically for the Irish market, focusing on the unique benefits of all our kombucha beverages. This campaign aimed to educate potential customers while promoting the brand's personality.

To capitalise on market opportunities, I ran targeted ads for key events and promotions. This not only boosted visibility but also attracted new customers to the brand.

Techno Yoga was a huge campaign which drove growth from an entirely new audience.
